Chapter Four
"Mum! Can I go outside with Flame in the pool?!" asked Kat excitedly, as she arrived home with a bang. "Of course you can, Katty! Just make sure Flame doesn't burn up the pool area!" shouted Kat's mum from the living room. Kat found her bathers and wore them. She didn't need goggles, as she is a mermaid (Remember, it's not the mermaid with a tail. Check Wonderful Wishes- Magical Wishes to check out what it really means. If you don't know, you SHOULD'VE READ FROM THE START!!!) She can breathe underwater and make forms in bubbles. It was nearly dusk, so Kat jumped in with Flame and swam. Kat dived right inside the water, breathing gently. She used her magic in the pool, where no one could see. She made bubbles, made her in a big bubble. Then, she blew bubbles from her mouth to the surface of the water. Flame thought she was a fish! She also did summersaults and flips in the water. Magic is really useful, she thought. And a lot of fun, remembering the time she made Miss. Dell's whole office messy, it had been really funny. Kat thought she was the luckiest girl in the world with awesome magic like this. That night, Lindsey called. "Dragon Fire is cool!" Lindsey kept saying. "I can throw fire balls at anyone or anything whenever I like." Kat fixed her nails. "Bye Linds. I have to go now. See you tomorrow at Magic World. I'll be there at seven!"
