Chapter Two
Kat's trouble with Flame started straight away. She had trouble putting him in her bag. He just wouldn't. "Come on, Flame!" Kat whispered worriedly, as she was trying to drop him in her bag. "Mrs. Harrid will come in soon!" Lindsey sighed. "Kat, let me help," she whispered a spell that got Kat kind of confused: 'Dragon's Fire, make my desire, come true!' Soon, Flame looped in Kat's bag with no problem, just a bit of fire flames. "You've burnt my bag, you naughty Flame!" joked Kat. "Who burnt your bag? Flame?" asked Emma Hughes, who was sitting behind her, chewing bubble gum. Kat gave her a glare and turned back to Mrs. Harrid. "Get out your math books. Turn to page 12!" growled Mrs. Harrid. Kat scribbled on a piece of paper: What spell was that? And passed it to Lindsey. But as she was, Flame leaped his head out of her bag, and blew fire on the note. "Ouch!" cried Kat loudly and dropped the note, which shimmered to ashes. Lindsey smirked and stepped on the ashes, so Mrs. Harrid will not see. "What on Earth is going on, Kat?" asked the teacher. "Haven't you been paying attention at all?" growled Mrs. Harrid. So, unlike Lindsey, Kat told the truth. "No, Mrs. Harrid. I wasn't, but I think I have to go to the bathroom, Mrs." Said Kat quietly. "I think you need to go to the principal's office and stay there until the end of math doing nothing!" glared Mrs. Harrid. "Out, now!"
Poor Kat! She has never been sent to the Principal's office before! She had no choice except to take her bag, with Flame in it so he wouldn't get into any more trouble. She first knocked on the Principal's door. Then, she opened it. Explaining to Miss. Dell what she was here for, got Miss. Dell in furious rage. "Sit on the Naughty Chair with your hands on your head for ten mins. Then, you will tell me when time passes and get this addition worksheet to do!" raged Miss. Dell. Kat could hear Flame, struggling to get out of her bag, but with a zip, Flame couldn't. After only one min of hands on her head, she couldn't wait another min. "Miss," she said quietly. "May I stop?" It was scary. "No! You have 8 more mins. I have to go get Mrs. Harris to do something!" Then, Miss. Dell left in a flash. Kat could finally put her hands off her head. Then, she got out Flame. "Hi Flame!" she whispered gleefully. Usually, she wasn't as naughty as Lindsey, but she just felt cheeky to the teachers. It was time to mess up Miss. Dell's room.
