Chapter One:

I leaned against Keira's locker which has a number 28 star written on it. Keira wrote star next to 28 last week to show off that she was a star. Of course, she was but not exactly. She is so good at art and dumb at music. I am so good at music and dumb at art. She wants to be a supermodel and artist when she grows up. I want to be a musician and RSPCA volunteer. We are so different. It was 7:30am and school hadn't begun yet. I was still waiting for Keira. Suddenly, Keira came through the high school doors. She threw herself at me and smiled. "Hi Serena!" she greeted. As usual, I said hi and did our greeting routine. Then, she said something so shocking that I thought my brain was going to melt in my mouth. "I'm going to be part of Sadie's Supermodel Team. Cool, yeah?" She said, opening her locker to get her books out. Sadie's Supermodel Team was a program for people who like to walk on the runway and do cool poses every second and dress up like total cows. Also, Sadie was a girl who led the team. Sadie Mcduff. She is in my history and math classes. "You should join!" out of the blue, Sadie popped out right in front of us and smiled and started a rejected conversation. "I should join what? Your supermodel team? If you hadn't realized, Keira is joining!" I snapped, getting annoyed. "You don't have to…" Sadie said slowly, her mouth in motion. "Keira, I want you to hand out these flyers in your science class. Some girls are really cool there! And I'm not in your science class and since you can be my helper…" but Keira interrupted. "Of course!" A few minutes later, the bell rang and the convoy didn't go any further. In our Science class, Keira secretly threw a Sadie Model Team flyer on my head. "Yo, dude!" Jake Bay whispered smoothed the flyer out and turned around to give Jake a deadly look. The flyer said:

This flyer got me a little mad. In music room? Sadie is crazy! I have to practice my piano piece with Lindy in the music room for tomorrow's assembly! Well I'll tell her to use music room 2, I thought. But no, I remember that Ryan and Andrew have to use it for their guitar duets. When science was finally over, everyone exactly scrammed out of the class before Mrs. Leaver could say another word. I caught Keira and asked, "You're not heading to the music room are you?" Keira nodded and said, "I am kind of in a hurry. I have to meet Sadie to organize the Beyoncé and Hilary Duff costumes for the models first red carpet walk," I sighed. "Well, tell Sadie I need to talk to her!"
