"A mermaid is a person that owns full-water, ice and bubble powers. They can also breathe underwater and what that word really means does not mean," explained Fiona. "That's right. No tail at all. Just an advantage to breathe underwater." Smiled the old wizard. Kat was very shocked. "But I can't be one. I mean, I have tried water spells but not this! I can't be a mermaid!" said Kat gasping. "I'm sorry. I have to go. Thank you," and Kat hurried out of the curtains and ran over to Lindsey, totally scared. "You do not want to go in there,"
"Why not? I'm gonna go and see my wish, just like what you did!" said Lindsey. "By the way, what are you, like are you half…" But Kat cut her off. "Mermaid." Though Lindsey was shocked, Kat told her what mermaid actually meant. "Whoa mama! That's cool! I wish I can breathe through water!" remarked Lindsey. Kat shook her head when Lindsey walked in the curtains. The same thing happened with Lindsey. At first, she was totally scared about owning dragon fire but as Fiona and the old wizard explained that it was really harmless if you don't get mad or angry, the fire will be so strong, it can burn up your enemy. So Lindsey decided to stay calm.
