Chapter Two- Wonderful Wishes

Chapter Two- if you have not read Chapter One, please read so you get the start.

Kat couldn't believe her ears. "You used magic? In class? Were you nuts?" Kat kept asking after school that night. "Believe it or not, I did! But for a good reason, Kat. You know I don't take my gift for granted," said Lindsey calmly. Kat told Lindsey almost 105 reason that she had used her gift for granted. "So did you! You made the bell ring ten minutes earlier to save me from Mrs. Harrid's talk! Now, that was magic!" insisted Lindsey. But Kat told her that it was to save Lindsey from getting into trouble. "Anyway, let's just forget about it go to sleep. I'm tired." Lindsey yawned. "Does your third cousin, Roselle know about you?" asked Kat softly when they were tucked into their beds. Kat was sleeping on the top bunk, Lindsey was going to be in the middle and Roselle was going to be on the bottom. "Yes, but she isn't like us. She is, let's just say, not abnormal. Oh! Here she comes!" answered Lindsey. "Hello, Roselle! Did your mum, did she say that we have to go to sleep?" asked Kat gleefully. Roselle nodded and said hi to Kat.

When Roselle was finally asleep, Kat and Lindsey could finally explore Magic World. They summoned away in blue sparkles. Before they went, Lindsey shoved her pillow in the blanket so Roselle could think that she was there instead of cry. Now that would be bad! "Sometimes I really do hate Roselle. Especially tonight because she stole my Magic Pencil! Remember the one I bought from Magic World for two coins? Now I bet you that she is gonna be half magical and half brat stealer!" remarked Lindsey. "Yes, of course Linds. Let's go to the shop that sells wands!" said Kat, pulling Lindsey to the shop. But suddenly, an owl, appeared up to them with a sign in its mouth that said: CLOSED COME BACK SOON YOU EAGAR WIZARDS! "Hmph!" cried Kat. "I really wanted to buy my grandmother a special wand!"

"Kat! Looks like there is a new shop in town! See? Wishes- make your past wish come true. Let's see it! Oh! And there is a fortune teller too! C'mon Kat!" cried Lindsey. They entered the shop, and as the door opened, it closed with purple shiny sparks. "Hello, my customers. How may I help you to see your wish?" An old man wizard popped right in front of them. At first, Kat wasn't so sure but Lindsey started to say, "Yes sir, my friend, Kat wants to do it," "Of course, Kat. Come with me." Smiled the old wizard and led Kat behind a curtain. "Now, you will pick up a card from the fortune teller of the past," the wizard started. "What do you mean by fortune teller of the past?" asked Kat. The wizard explained that this lady called Fiona was Magic World's famous fortune teller. She only sees the past. Kat picked up a card from the deck and gave it to Fiona. She blew air from her mouth. "    Well, what does it say?" asked Kat hopefully. "Mm. Your great-great grandmother made this wish up. She wished that she would be half-mermaid…" Fiona said. "So, what does that mean? I mean, mermaids don't exist."
