X-PLOSION!!!

The X-plosion Files

Help! Somebody! The X-plosion Club files are missing! Help! Midnite and Costa must save and find The X-plosion files! Who has taken them? Where have they gone? Are the paper and writing in the files still there? Help! Midnite, Costa and Cammie need your help! Help them! Find and rescue the X-plosion Files!

Chapter One

"Okay. So…do we have all the X-Plosion Club members here?" Midnite retorted quickly. She glanced around the room. Ever since The X-Plosion Club existed Costa and Cammie had suggested to have urgent meetings every once in a while. Today's meeting was in Midnite's room. Midnite's room was full of black stuff. And gothic and gangster stuff. The walls were painted black. The computer was black. Her bed-spread was black. Almost everything was black in her room. Midnite had black, glossy hair and black painted nails. It suited her, in fact. Whereas Costa and Cammie were really girly. Costa had dazzling brunette hair and Cammie had dark blonde which was cupped in with a clip neatly. "No. It's just Cammie, you and I," said Costa, flipping her brunette hair back and clumping down into a black beanbag. Midnite's nostril's flared. "Well…Let me get The X-Plosion Files. I know Reality is not here but I need to give them a cross. After all, if you don't attend three club meetings, you do get kicked out…" Midnite stopped trailing off suddenly. When she reached out to get her shoulder-bag-which had the X-Plosion Club files and quizzes and answers in it-but it was empty!

"Omigod," Midnite breathed, pulling her pale white hand back from the shoulder bag. "The X-Plosion Files are missing!"

Chapter Two

"What?"
"What? How can that be?"
"Omigod, it IS missing!"
"What are we going to do?"
"Quick! Call 9-1-1!"
Midnite's bedroom was a mad room. Cammie and Costa and Midnite were making such a racket, where the X-Plosion Files have disappeared to.

"Wait! Everyone be quiet! First, as President of The X-Plosion Club, I demand silence!" Midnite snapped. Cammie and Costa both snapped their mouths shut.

"We all know that the X-Plosion Files are missing," said Midnite quietly. "But whoever who has been in this club for more than three years should know that the club files have more than 100 things that are important! You all know that we do fun stuff, quizzes, serious stuff. Registered club members and all. So whoever took it will face a serious consequence-which is to be kicked out of the club for eternity!" Midnite finished with full anger in her mouth. Cammie and Costa nodded.

"I didn't take it," protested Cammie.

"Me either." Said Costa, swinging on a black back chair.

"Okay. Well. Report the other X-Plosion club members here tomorrow-9:00am cos' tomorrow's Saturday! Also, I will write an email to them tonight! This meeting is dismissed! Just remember if you see the files anywhere, bring them to me immendiantly! Get it?" Midnite said in a dangerous and serious tone. Cammie and Costa nodded and picked up their bags, which was full of homework and left Midnite's room.

Chapter 3

Straight away after Cammie and Costa left Midnite's room, Midnite dived on the computer and quickly checked her emails. She hit compose and decided to compose an email to Reality.

From: x-plosion.club@clubs.com

To: reality.summers@hotmail.com

Dear Reality Summers (Member 103# of the X-Plosion Club.)

You have rejected at least 2 team meetings. Your third rejection will lead to you getting kicked out of the club! Please note this seriously.

Our X-Plosion Files are missing! Please note this VERY seriously! Midnite, our club president needs them back urgently! Please restate this urgently!!! We must need the file really urgently!!! If you have seen these files of the club, report them to Midnite IMMENDIANTLY! You might or might not face any consequences. Thank you for your time.

From,

The X-Plosion Club President, Midnite Jacobs

Midnite hit send as quickly as possible. Midnite then looked at the time. It was almost sleeping time. How can she sleep? The club was under peril, she thought as she lay in her black bed in the dark. Suddenly, her black Nokia mobile flip-phone (Which was decorated in gothic stuff, by the way.) beeped and vibrated to alert that a message was through. Midnite reached out for her phone in the dark. She glanced at the screen. It said: Reality.

Midnite sighed. She opened the message and frowned. It said: Sorry! Family problems. Sorry to hear about the club! L Message me! And, check Ur emails! XD

Midnite's frown got deeper. What did family problems matter? Midnite had been in several family problems but as president, she did her best to come up to as many club meetings as possible. But Reality wasn't even doing her best to make the club GROW!

Wateva. I'll email ya back tomorrow before school.

She punched a few keys. Her eyelids dropped. I'm down casting, she thought. I need some sleep. At last, she found some sleep. She closed her eyes almost slowly. The X-Plosion Club…she murmured instantly.

Chapter 4

"Okay. So…the X-Plosion Club Files?" the next day at school was chaos. Costa and Cammie were taking an eye out for the files. Costa, Cammie and Midnite all went to the same public school: Farewell General High around the North side of Townsville. Although Reality went to a private school around the west side of Townsville: Polite High Jr. For Girls. "I don't know." Midnite said slowly. "But all I do know that whoever is responsible has to turn up! And bring back the X-Plosion Files immendiantly!!!" Costa and Cammie nodded. There was a stern look in all of their faces.

"How's Reality?" asked Cammie at lunch break. Midnite sniffed frostily. "Fine," she half-lied. "Family problems. The works." Midnite flipped her black hair back.

"Hey losers!" a voice jolted up behind Cammie, Midnite and Costa. The three girls span around.

"The 8 & 8s!" Costa hissed and glanced at them. The 8 and 8s were what they called these two really mean and snobby and nasty girls at school. That was Lassie George, a chubby fat face and Natasha Gimmicks-the slim blond one. "Yeah, X-Plosioners! Or should I say, X-Losers!" shrieked Natasha in delight. "Ignore them," said Costa, scrambling to pick her lunch bag. "Pretend we can't hear them."

But it was no use. The 8 & 8s were all coming through. Midnite turned around and faced the 8 & 8s, definite. "Losers??" she hollered. "Who are the LOSERS??" Midnite was screaming right now. Question-you are the LOSERS!" The 8 & 8s shrieked with laughter. Midnite flushed deeply. Other people were looking towards the talk fight! Costa and Cammie were trying to pull Midnite away, definite. But Midnite looked like she was in for a battle. She started to yell really, really loud at the 8 & 8s. "Well, you know what, you two fat snobs? We don't care what you think about our friend club! We just don't care but lately, our files have been missing and we need it back, urgently! So you guys and go wipe your butts on one another cos' we don't care!" yelled Midnite-who was furious. The 8 and 8s got silent for a moment. Then there was a shriek of laughter-not just from the 8 & 8s-but from almost the whole school! Midnite felt herself blushing with shame. She had never meant this to happen! Why did I open my bigmouth? She thought. Telling practically the whole school and the 8 & 8s about the X-Plosion Club's lost files! She blushed again.

Chapter 5

"Hey. Weren't the 8 & 8s a pain today?" asked Costa on the phone that afternoon after school. Midnite sighed. "Yeah-they were," she sighed. "Snobby cows," she added sulkily. "Ok. Well, I'm going to do my homework. Bye." Said Costa and she hung up the phone. Midnite had vowed-and so had Costa and Cammie to search their homes for the club files. All had failed, recently. It's weird, thought Midnite. She was so sure that she had placed the files in her black shoulder bag from school the other day…which only means one thing. "OMIGOD!" She shrieked. "The 8 & 8s, eh?" she whispered more quietly. She jumped out of her bed. She quickly pressed the ON button on her computer on her black desk. I'm gonna kill the 8 & 8s…she thought silently as she logged on her email. She got an email from Reality. It said:
Hey…Sorry about…you know. Hey, look. I'm thinking of quitting this 'club'. I mean, here's the thing-it's worthless. And useless. I mean, what's the point of making the X-Plosion Club a FRIENDSHIP club? You know what I mean! And I'm boiling with anger…my friends at school are all turning up on me…my granddad is in hospital…my mum is exchanging work forms and my grades at school as well! So yeah, I can't work with this. Sorry Midnite.

Reality. Xx

The whole lot of the email got Midnite so angry. She felt like the whole world was going wrong. "Thank's REALITY!"

Was what Reality wrote. Obviously she was mad about the email. She was really mad. In fact, everything was wrong. She'd rather rewrite what happened! This is what was GOING to happen…

Okay. "Omigod," Midnite breathed, pulling her pale white hand back from the shoulder bag. "The X-Plosion Files are missing!"

So there you go! That's what all happened at the start. So now…what happens NOW??? Yes, what really happens now? Read on to FIND out!!!

Midnite sighed. Costa sighed. And Cammie sighed. It's been 10 days already and they have not found the X-Plosion Files. "Maybe it's lost forever," said Cammie sadly. "No. there is still hope, hopefully. There is STILL hope," muttered Costa over and over again, looking at the rain from outside. It was raining and the three girls were all looking through the window by the window sill. "Maybe Reality is right," said Midnite sleepily. "Maybe we should stop this club. Maybe we should. After all we've been through, you know," continued Midnite dozily. She went through as though she was good. Costa stumbled. "Yeah…Reality isn't ALWAYS right-is she?" Costa stammered. "Yeah and she isn't the BOSS of us-is she?" retorted Cammie immendiantly. She can't be disciplined-anyway," she finished. They all looked at eachother. "Since the X-Plosion Club Files are missing, lets just forget about it," said Midnite tiredly. "Anyone fancy a swim at the pool?"
