How can I find the Perfect Sport?

How can I Find the Perfect Sport?

By Christine Katlyn-Caraline Wang and Pinky Diaries

Note from Christine KCW:

In my life it is so hard to find a perfect sport. Mum says I was getting chubby and dancing tap or ballet might help. But the truth is… dancing is making me worse. I didn't want to live my life unhappy just because of dancing haunting it do I? I'm trying to make a stop to it
and try out private lessons for swimming or horse-riding. So, in this book or page or whatever you call it, there is first a story I've made up then some facts after each. The characters are all the same. Enjoy!

Chapter 1

Let's try out Acrobatics

I looked out the car window and sighed. But happily. Today is the day for my acrobatics lesson classes. I can hardly wait. It's a Tuesday morning and the sun is shining brightly. It's still school holidays and I, Jeannie Mcduff have to do an outside sport. "You're getting chubbier by day," mum says. So, here I am, agreeing with mum and enrolling acrobatics. I have stretched this morning so it should be alright. My body tension is fine, actually. We drove there, at the studio. Loud music thumped up my heart as I pushed open the heavy door. Then, I spotted the ENTER door and pushed in. Mum said bye because she had to go back to work. What I saw was a crowd of kids and parents chatting away. I saw a group of slim girls whispering in one corner and another group in another corner. They all wore same uniforms. Perfect for acrobatics. It was that time I enrolled 'Rhymical's Acrobatic School'. Suddenly a bell rang a light breeze. The girls about my age scrambled up and walked through a door that said: Junior Acrobatics'. I walked over to the office and ask the lady there, "Um, which room am I in?" I seemed stupid and dumb. "Ah, you're the new girl aren't you? I'm Fiona, the helper here. You're going through the junior door." I said thanks were politely and ran into the junior door.

"Jeannie Mcduff, find a position in the room somewhere and sit down," the teacher, Gina told me to do. She looked friendly and flexible. The girls all huddled up like bees in the same hive and looked at me and whispered to eachother. I just froze there, thinking about what to do. All the girls had their own group of pathetic friends. I gulped. Suddenly, Gina came in with a dramatic start. "Right, juniors! Let's do the steps!" Gina called out. Huh? I didn't know any steps. "The mountain!" she called. Everyone put their hands in the air that looked like a rocket and their bellies squeezed in and thighs in. I copied a few but lost my balance and fell. Gina helped me up and said it was OK to fall on first lesson. Good? The girls were all smirking and giggling! "The bike!" then all the girls placed one leg in the air behind them and their arms in front. Again, I lost my balance and fell. Gina gave up on her sympathy and all the girls especially the slim ones: Sara, Milly and Mikki were all bursting out. The rest of the lesson was horrible. When it was over, I quickly grabbed my bag in a flash, avoiding Milly whispering to Mikki and Sara and looking at me, and ran out the door. I had to tell mum I don't want to go to this acrobatics. Not in this life time I won't.

Hi, Christine here again. Don't you think Sara, Milly and Mikki were just awful? I mean, they were very spiteful or in other words, bitchy which means spiteful. Jeannie has told her mother that acrobatics isn't for her- I will say that to my mum if I was her- not with the horrible people, I won't! Well, if you are interested in acrobatics, why not try gymnastics? It's much easier than acrobatics. It depends, really. There is lots of stretching and boy tension going on. My rate:

I'd say two and a half, but I will prefer this much more than tap dancing.

To be continued…
