Horse-riding Miracles 2#

Horse-riding Miracles 2#-

If my mum is reading this, please scroll down and read: Horse-riding miracles. This is continued from that story.

Chapter 1

Angie felt fantastic as she and Caspar leaped over the 30cm fence. She felt free. She felt great. She had never jumped a fence high like that. Ms. Harrington did little claps and said, "Well, Angie, you have good technic but your body tension and speed seems low." The snobby girls snickered. "Wendy, you're next," called Ms. Harrington. Wendy kept her back straight as she held on tight to Bronte's reins. She smiled at Ms. Harrington and began going into a light canter. Angie's face fell. Wendy and Stevie were all so good. Wendy jumped the fence, it made everything look easy. "Very excellent, Shining Star. You have good technic, body tension and speed. You are a very good rider and that private lesson isn't to waste! "smiled Ms. Harrington. Angie sighed. Shining Star is what Ms. Harrington called Wendy from now on. It was because Wendy is the best rider. Except for Stevie, of course. Unfortunately, Stevie, Wendy and Elliarna heard her sigh and all chanted when Ms. Harrington wasn't looking: 'Miserable, raining face, on her base!' Angie looked away. "Who cares about them?" whispered June who was right next to her with Ginny. No matter what happened or whatever Angie does, the snobby girls are all going on her. For the past weeks Angie had been training very hard in Willow Halls Riding School. But still, Ms. Harrington thought she was a complete idiot and the snobby girls will just keep chanting on her. There was no escape. No escape whatsoever.

"Wanna come to the lounge to get a drink?" asked June after the jumping lesson. They were at Caspar's stall fixing him for next lesson. "OK, when I just put on this saddle… oh right, let's go," answered Angie unlocking the stall door. They headed off towards the lounge when they heard Ms. Harrington's voice in the office, "OK, she will be fine in first lesson if she can ride like that. I can book her classes right now. The rest of the pupils are having a 20-30min break so she can just find some friends." Ms. Harrington was saying. Angie and June looked at eachother. They all were thinking the same thing; a new student is enrolling! They crept outside the office window. On one chair, was a woman with long dark hair probably the girl's mother and on another was a girl with dark brown hair in a ponytail. "Wanna tease her when Ms. Harrington and her mum are out?" asked June.

"No way!" hissed Angie, glaring at her friend. "If you are going to end up like the snob girls, you can forget about being my friend!" June sighed and insisted, "I was only joking, Ange. Seriously. Now let's go to the lounge." Said June. So, off they went.

Chapter 2

"Excuse me! Can I please have everyone's attention?" Jedi, the beginners riding teacher called out from the lounge. Everyone dropped dead silent except for some snuffled giggles from the snobby girls. Angie and June stopped talking immediately and turned around to Jedi. Angie saw how serious Jedi's face was so she put down her orange fizzy juice down with a slam. "Now, we have a new pupil at Willow Halls and her name is Jue. Jue Mitchells. She and her mother are at the office right now with Ms. Harrington discussing classes. I want you to all make her feel welcome. Be kind and show her around. She is new and she has ridden before so she should get the hang of it. If you will like to know her classes, come to the pinboard. Thank you." Thus, Jedi left with a thump. Most kids hurried out of the lounge to check out the pinboards. Except for Angie and June. "Jue," breathed June under her breath. "Jue; is that even a name for a girl?" Angie shrugged and answered, "I don't know. I think we saw her at the office, remember? With her mum. She looked kind but that was only to Ms. Harrington and possibly Jedi," the two girls stopped talking about Jue Mitchells and looked around to the snobby girls, who were still in the lounge much too interested in their looks and beauty to care about what's going on at Willow Hall's. "What are you staring at, Angie Traveski? Since, you've made a complete fool out of yourself to Ms. Harrington; I suggest you better warm up because our dressage lesson is starting in ten minutes," Stevie taunted. Angie and June scrambled out of the lounge. She didn't want the snobs teasing her again. When they left, Angie could hear them chanting again: 'Miserable, raining face on her base!'

Angie and June went separate ways to tack up their horses for the lesson. Angie approached to Caspar, smiling brightly. "Hey there, you look like you're ready for dressage," smiled Angie hopefully, patting Caspar's forehead. The horse was strawberry roan all over. Soon, Angie unlocked the stall and tacked Caspar up. Suddenly the little bell rang. Class was about to begin. As Angie rode Caspar to the dressage area, Ms. Harrington and the rest of the class was there. "Today, we are going to straight into our dressage work. I'm not going to explain. Janine, the casual teacher has explained on Wednesday, of course. So you should all remember the technics, of course. Elliarna, you start," said Ms. Harrington sternly. Elliarna and her horse, Little-Bell set off. "Ellie, keep your back straight and your canters will be much better!" cried Ms. Harrington. When Elliarna finished, it was Angie's turn. Angie took a deep breathe. Dressage combos were definitely the easiest style in riding. Angie took her go. She could hear the snobby girls chanting that ridiculous rhyme softly but that didn't stop Angie from doing her best. Suddenly, out of the blue, someone on a horse came up to Ms. Harrington which gave Caspar a shock. Caspar bolted and bucked but Angie was managed to stay on. Though she didn't know that she was sliding slowly down the saddle in a surprising start. Angie slowly got up and Ms. Harrington tutted. Angie saw who was the girl that scared Caspar- it was the new girl-Jue Mitchells, late to class no doubt. "Alright, Angie it wasn't a big fall much so it'll be alright. Something just gave Caspar a shock, no doubt. Alright, since Angie was the last one, we are all finished for today's lessons. But, Jue is going to give us a fine gallop, aren't you Jue?" continued Ms. Harrington, giving a stern, willing look at Jue. Angie saw the girl nod. The girl's hair was now in a low ponytail. She was wearing light jeans, perfect for riding, and a jean jacket and riding helmet. Soon enough, all Angie see is a blur. Jue was galloping away in the dressage ring. Jue was pretty good and Ms. Harrington hadn't praised her or told her off. Jue knew what that meant: She didn't tell her off because she was new and her riding is quite not good in a way Angie felt it.

Chapter 3

Angie had received several emails from June yesterday:

Hey Ange. I just wanted to tell you that because since you aren't online, I wanted to say I am sad because my mum and dad said that we might be leaving Willow Halls this week. We MIGHT. But when they say MIGHT it generally means a YES. So, yeah. I'm still worried just in case we are going. It's horrible news but I got some bright news: Jue Mitchells, the new girl has Dixon, the bay horse. She is riding him for perhaps forever. Dixon, is a great horse, eh? Look, we have been friends for a few weeks but I'm afraid that we might have to move, NOT taking GINNY with us!!!! Wahhh! I will miss Willow Halls, you and Ginny. I will also miss Kathy, my riding instructor. IF I leave, good luck and make new friends and IGNORE the snob girls. Bye, June xo

That email got her heart hurting. How can June leave? That was horrible news! Suddenly another email caught Angie's eyes and she clicked on it. It said: Good news-I'm NOT LEAVING! Whoa! Yes! bye, June. Angie found herself giggling. Phew! June was not going to leave-that was a good thing. What is going to be the other?

The end
